睪聲yì — gives the sounda watching eye over a captive; worn down inside the modern graph, not a piece you can read off it
Speech (言) and 睪 yì for the sound — 睪 buried inside the right side, no longer legible on its own. 說文 reads it 傳譯四夷之言者 — one who carries the words of foreign peoples across. From that carrying-across: to translate (翻譯), to interpret aloud (口譯). It rides the 睪 series: 驛、繹、擇.
